DROP GOAL HURRICANES - TU'IPULOTU 39-19. A crazy finish to the game as the Chiefs lose the ball and thinking the whistle had gone Tu'ipulotu chances his arm at a lazy drop goal and it sails through, and with it the final whistle goes. So the Canes make it two on the bounce and in doing so suggested they are bang in form again. Thanks for joining us here and we will see you soon.

TRY HURRICANES - MASOE 36-19. Hand bags as the second rows square up after Bason lost the ball forward. Here come the Canes again as Gopperth has a dart but is held short. Quick ball for Weepu who fires it long to Masoe who uses his size to power over and seal the game.

Hurricanes make a hash of the re-start and the Chiefs snap it up and Sweeney comes onto Bason's pass on the 22. de Malmanche has a charge but he is stripped of the ball and away come the Canes. Long kick and Schwalger is up to get his hands on it, pops to Weepu who smashes into Sweeny, off to Paku but he is just forced into touch with the try line so close.

TRY HURRICANES - SO'OIALO 31-19. Wide it goes from the scrum as Conrad Smith comes in on a good angle as Weepu goes to Eaton. Up to the five metre line before So'oialo takes it on and crashes over.

So'oialo makes the initial carry and as Eaton comes on the next wave he spills it and the Chiefs get a let off five metres from their own line. Penalty now as the Canes walk the scrum round and now it will be an easy clearance.

Nonu is used as a battering ram and gives the Canes good front foot ball. Now Hore comes flying onto it and makes it up to the line. Frantic defence from the Chiefs as the Canes swarm all over. Messam flies up to hit Eaton but knocks the ball on as he does so and it will be a Canes scrum.

Messam is brought in on the crash and he makes good ground into the 22. Donald use his forwards again and they are ten metres short now but it is lost. Weepu looks to clear but is tackled and spills it forward. Great chance now for the Chiefs.
